Having raised $10,000 for public interest scholarships and fellowships in the first two years, organizers of the BC Law Alumni Golf Tournament are hoping to build on that success at the third annual event on Monday, August 15, at Walpole Country Club in Walpole, Massachusetts.

Conceived as a means to bring people across the BC Law community together for a day of golf, provide a networking opportunity for students and alumni, and raise funds for students and recent graduates, the tournament has quickly become a Law School tradition. Holland & Knight returns as the Title Sponsor.

Tournament co-founder Mark Woodroffe ’14 says: “The feedback from golfers and volunteers has been extremely positive, and we will continue to leverage the support of the broader BC Law community to grow this worthy event. We invite you to reunite with old friends, classmates, and professors and to join members of the BC Law community for a great day of golf on August 15.”

Registration begins at 10 a.m., and players may get a few swings in on the practice range prior to the shotgun start at 11 a.m. The tournament format will be a four-person scramble. Following play, there will be an awards dinner featuring a raffle and silent auction. Non-golfing guests are welcome to attend.

Visit the tournament website for up-to-date information regarding the tournament and a link to an online portal for simple registration and sponsorship. Or contact Mark Woodroffe at 813-240-3553 or at mwoodroffe@cooley.com with questions about the event.

The Walpole Country Club was founded in 1927 and is one of Massachusetts’s premiere private golf clubs. The existing golf course was designed by Al Zikorus in 1974.
