When Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey entered a Nantucket courtroom January 7 for arraignment on a charge of indecent assault and battery, he was accompanied by his attorneys, Juliane Balliro ’81, center, and Alan Jackson, right. In court documents, his legal team said the accusations that Spacey groped the teenage son of a former Boston TV anchor in a bar in 2016 were “patently false.” The actor pleaded not guilty. Balliro is a white-collar criminal defense lawyer at Nelson Mullins in Boston.
