The Law School has launched a new blog “by students, for students” chronicling life at BC Law.

BC Law: Impact will feature regular posts from nine student bloggers, each of them covering a specific area of interest. Topics such as living in Boston, student events and social life, academics, public service, externships and studying abroad will be highlighted. Bloggers were chosen from all three class years by Law Student Association leadership. Some have prior writing experience with undergraduate student newspapers and have published articles under their belts, while others do not.

Although the technical aspects of creating and maintaining the blog will be handled by law school administrative staff, the content will not be moderated or edited for content, said Nate Kenyon, the School’s director of marketing and communications. “We want our students’ viewpoints to be heartfelt and honest and we truly believe that the special nature of our law school will come through loud and clear,” he said in a recent interview with the BC Heights newspaper. “Law school is a serious commitment and students deserve to find a place that will feel like home for the next three years—and one that will help support their career and life goals, whatever they may be.”
