More than 570 alumni and friends celebrated Reunion and Alumni Weekend 2015 last November. It was wonderful to see so many alumni—young and old—reconnecting with classmates, professors, and our beloved alma matter.
The weekend kicked off with a Thursday evening reception for BC Law alumni who serve in the US Congress. Friday’s events included the official launch of the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy featuring distinguished female leaders discussing the gender gap in politics. The Alumni Assembly followed with keynote speaker David Simas ’95, director of White House Office of Political Strategy and Outreach. Friday evening concluded with our much-loved Bar Review.
Saturday’s festivities at the Ritz-Carlton started with alumni and faculty panels exploring various topics: the death penalty, the role of corporations in today’s society, the emergence of caregivers’ discrimination law, and equal access to justice. Later, Dean’s Council members gathered for a reception with Dean Vincent Rougeau, who expressed deep gratitude for their support. The evening culminated with spirited class dinners where alumni shared updates and stories about their professional and personal lives.
To mark their reunion milestone, many alumni were inspired to make a gift and encouraged their classmates to do the same. The total amount raised from reunion classes exceeded $1.24 million. Special congratulations to the Class of 1975, which raised the most with gifts and pledges totaling $322,947.
