Boston College Law School continues to rank among the best law schools in the nation. In The Princeton Review’s 2024 ranking on “Best Classroom Experience,” BC Law places #10 among a selection of other top tier law schools. BC Law also ranked #9 for “Best Quality of Life.”
“Our community is based on collegiality, warmth, and authentic connections—the kind of environment where ideas and dialogue can thrive,” says BC Law Dean Odette Lienau. “And thrive they do in our classrooms, where faculty and students take up the challenges of the rule of law with vigor and nuance.”
The Princeton Review rankings cover categories that prospective students are interested in and take into consideration the most when applying for law schools. The rankings for “Best Classroom Experience” and “Best Quality of Life” are based on student survey results including information on professors’ teaching abilities, overall accessibility outside of the classroom, balance of theory and practical skills in the curricula and the range of courses available, the level of tolerance for differing opinions in class discussion and their assessments of research resources available, and beauty, safety, and friendliness on campus.
Other top 10 schools in the Best Classroom Experience category include Stanford University, the University of Virginia, University of Chicago, and University of Michigan.
