Kevin P. Bruen was confirmed as superintendent of the New York State Police in June. He previously served as both acting superintendent and first deputy superintendent of the organization. Prior to joining the force, Bruen was deputy commissioner and counsel of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
