Christopher J. Hunter, a former federal prosecutor with the US Department of Justice, is a Democrat candidate for Congress in Florida’s 12th Congressional District. As an adjunct professor of law, he teaches international environmental politics and policy at the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL, and trial advocacy at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, FL. His children’s book on conservation biology, Seagrass Surprise, was published by Guardian Angel Publishing in November.
