David T. Flanagan was honored as the 11th Annual Claddagh Award recipient by the Maine Irish Heritage Center for his lifelong service to his community and state. Following a long career marked by a strong sense of civic duty, he currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Harold Alfond Foundation, the Board of Directors of the MaineGeneral Medical Center, and is honorary consul of the Republic of Bulgaria Consular District for the State of Maine.
