Kurt M. Swenson, chief executive officer and board chair of the Swenson Granite Works in Westbrook, ME, since 1975, retired in 2016 when the company, founded by his great grandfather in 1883, was sold. He hopes to start a trend of class note submissions from “those of us out fifty years plus” and reports that he regularly sees fellow classmate Gary Richardson, as they both lived in Hopkinton, NH, during their working careers, and have winter homes in Florida.
