Maribeth Petrizzi, assistant director of the Compliance Division of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, DC, was named acting director of the FTC Bureau of Competition during the agency’s transition at the start of the Biden Administration. She is a recipient of the 2021 Roger W. Jones Award for Executive Leadership presented by American University’s Key Executive Leadership Programs and was inducted into the Women/Connected Committee’s Hall of Fame-inism of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section for her contributions to promoting women in the antitrust, consumer protection, and data privacy fields.
