LAHANAS held a semiformal Send-Off Celebration on April 10 that brought students, professors, and staff together to congratulate BC Law’s graduating 3L and LLM students.
LAHANAS is an umbrella organization at BC Law that welcomes all students who seek community in groups from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, and helps support their transition to the Law School and the profession.
“[The Send-Off] is a time to celebrate students, acknowledge their contributions to our community and wish them well as they head into finals for the last time,” said Lisa Brathwaite, assistant dean at BC Law.
Students who served as co-president, president, or co-chairs during their 2L year were recognized with awards. Kristie Hoang ’25, who served as a LAHANAS director during both her 2L and 3L years, received special recognition for her leadership.
