Michael O’Donnell is the author of Above the Fire to be published by Blackstone Publishing for release in December 2023. The book tells the story of a father and his young son who must survive a winter in the mountains during a time of war. He is a senior attorney with the US Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. A writer for BC Law Magazine as a law student, he has also published in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and the Economist.
