Teaching and Mentorship: Newly retired after more than fifty years as a professor specializing in labor and employment law at Boston College, Twomey is recognized as a mentor and guiding light to business students. Presidential Summons: He was called upon numerous times by Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, and Biden to serve on presidential emergency boards, which made recommendations in rail and airline industry disputes. David Twomey
David Twomey recently retired from Boston College after fifty-six years on the faculty. He was a Carroll School of Management professor of business law and society and a labor law expert whom six different United States presidents appointed to ten presidential emergency boards.
