Hon. Bonnie G. Wittner was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from her alma mater, Wheaton College in Norton, MA, in May. She is an acting justice of the New York State Supreme Court in the 1st Judicial District and a retired judge of the Criminal Court of the City of New York. Previously, she served in the Antitrust Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office as a staff attorney and later as deputy bureau chief.
