Louisa M. Terrell was named by President-elect Joe Biden as director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. As part of his transition team, she oversaw congressional affairs. In the Obama-Biden administration she served as assistant to the president for legislative affairs. In between the two administrations, she was deputy general counsel and head of public affairs for McKinsey & Company. She has also held senior policy positions at both Yahoo! and Facebook.
