The twenty-sixth annual BC Public Interest Law Foundation Auction brought together more than 300 members of the BC Law community to celebrate the Law School’s commitment to public interest law and to honor a graduate who has made an important contribution to the field of public interest law. The March auction, which raised $40,000, honored Gary Buseck ’80, legal director for Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders. Some 400 items, among them New England vacations, sports tickets, and restaurant certificates, were available through silent bidding and a live auction. Proceeds fund summer stipends for students engaged in unpaid, public sector legal summer internships.
