“I’m always looking to make an impact for social justice. That’s why I give to my alma mater. There’s no better way to strengthen BC Law’s distinctive values and touch the lives of tomorrow’s lawyers.”
—Ruth-Arlene W. Howe, JD’74, Professor Emerita
Professor Howe recently created a charitable gift annuity, adding to the many gifts her former students, colleagues, and friends have made to the Ruth-Arlene W. Howe Black Student Leadership Initiative. Charitable annuities are one of several legacy giving options, including bequests, charitable trusts, and beneficiary designations.
Such gifts are surprisingly simple to make and can provide income in addition to significant tax benefits.
