BC Law Ranked in Nation’s Top Tier

US News, Above the Law, and Princeton Review place the Law School and some of its programs among the country's best.

Boston College Law School continues to rank among the top law schools in the country. In the U.S. News & World Report 2020 “Best Graduate Schools” report released today, BC Law placed #27 for the second year in a row and was also well represented in several specialty categories. It ranked 14th in Tax Law, 27th in Environmental Law, and 29th in Legal Writing.

The most recent Above the Law rankings, released last May and focused primarily on graduate outcomes, currently has the Law School at #20 and Boston College Law Review at #22.

Other recent rankings highlights include an increase of three spots to #19 in National Law Journal’s just released “Go-To” law schools list for large firm hiring; #7 for “Best Classroom Experience” and #8 for “Best Professors” in The Princeton Review; and an “A” for both Public Interest and International Law from National Jurist/PreLaw magazines.
