The 2026 LAHANAS Send-off Celebration was held on April 15, bringing students and faculty together in Barat House to celebrate graduating 3L and LLM students. The event featured food and fun beverages, and served as an opportunity for attendees to reflect on the special moments throughout their time at BC Law.
LAHANAS, which is open to all students, is an umbrella organization for BC Law’s affinity groups and focuses on increasing diversity in the profession and aiding students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in their transition to law school. Those groups are APALSA, BLSA, DLSA, LALSA, LAMBDA, and MESALSA. Noah Francois ’26 received special recognition for her outstanding leadership, serving as a LAHANAS director during both her 2L and 3L years. And a number of other students received certificates of appreciation for their various contributions.
