Brian Doxtader was sworn in as associate justice of the District Court by Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey. Brian was nominated in late May and confirmed in July as its youngest sitting associate justice. The District Court Department hears a range of criminal, civil, housing, juvenile, mental health, and other types of cases. On a more personal note, Doxtader also completed the Chicago Marathon in October, running with Team Hope to raise awareness of, and $148,000 for, Huntington’s Disease.
