Richard Kent, after a long career as a matrimonial lawyer, is now at the top of the so-called NIL revolution, which stands for name, image, and likeness and is shorthand for college athletes’ ability to be paid for endorsements and the like. Kent is with the recently formed company SANIL, that was founded to assist athletes, and he is providing legal counsel and perspective. He also teaches the topic at Rutgers Law School and Fairfield University.
