BC Law’s most generous benefactor, and the first dean to hold the chair that her $10 million gift endowed, were honored at an inauguration ceremony in Barat House on May 10. Odette Lienau became the Marianne D. Short, Esq., Dean when she joined the Law School in January 2023. Lienau and Short, NC’73, JD’76, P’05, along with Short’s husband, Raymond L. Skowra Jr., were applauded at the event by Boston College dignitaries as well as family, friends, and colleagues.
