Mel Robbins ’94 has bounced around in the media universe for years—even landing on the cover of BC Law Magazine in 2015 when she was a legal analyst for CNN. Her latest move? The launch of The Mel Robbins Podcast, a kind of tell-all in line with her work as a motivational speaker and author of self-help books.

Using a deeply personal counseling approach to her own real-life experiences, the one-time criminal defense attorney says she will shrink from no subject in the podcast and will involve her own family members from time to time.

She comes to the new venture with a sizable audience, built over time with several top-selling books, including The 5 Second Rule: Transform Your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage, a most-read book on Amazon in 2017; a TEDx talk titled “How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over”; and a brief syndicated daytime talk show.
